Tiny Gods Game Review
Tiny Gods is the latest game from the studio that makes Gods of War: Gold Edition. The group that made Gods of War: Gold Edition knows that many of them are fans of old-school games, and they want to make you a game that feels like it was designed for your classic gaming taste. Tiny Gods seems to be following in the footsteps of its older sibling, Godslayer, but it's still quite obviously a game of its own. There are still puzzles and hidden objects to be found, however, much of the game is spent on the activity, which should appeal to fans of the style.
Tiny Gods looks like it picks up some ideas from other hidden object games, such as those based on historical mythology, but in addition, it also has some new components. For example, instead of collecting artifacts that unlock new things you use, you now have a variety of different artifacts that can help you in your quest. New items include recovery tools that speed up your recovery, swords that serve as weapons, and talismans that can be used as magical aids. The idea behind it is to give the game a more natural feel and make it more educational for the players. Each item also has a reason why it is there, so you will be excited if you can find it and put it to good use.
One of the best things about Tiny Gods is the fact that it has very clear goals, which means that you understand exactly where you are going before you start playing. It is not a typical hidden object game, where you find out something in a natural way and in the end do not reach the goal. In Tiny Gods, the path to your goal is spelled out and easy to follow. This makes things more streamlined and leaves you less inclined to get lost, which can be a problem in hidden object games where the rooms are cluttered and the area is vague.
